The certified commercial kitchen is another exciting aspect of the Brown County Barn Burner that we’re working through details on.  The kitchen space is intended to have all the fixtures required for certification as an approved commercial kitchen (three-bay sink, hand washing sink, dishwasher, wipe-able surfaces, etc) and will also include a 4-burner gas cooktop, warming oven, reach-in fridge and freezer, ice machine, prep tables, and more.

We’d like to maximize the use of this space and make it possible for food-based business owners to rent the kitchen on an hourly basis, while also making the kitchen available for use during events, but those details still need to be worked out.
