Catering Options for Weddings and Other Events in Brown County, Indiana
Are you planning a wedding, retreat, or other event in Nashville or Brown County, Indiana and trying to figure out how to feed everyone? Depending on your group size, budget, venue, vibe, and type of event you have planned, you have a few different options.
Some venues (particularly hotels and certain wedding venues) require you to use either their in-house caterer, or choose from a list of approved vendors. While other venues, like the Brown County Barn Burner, allow you to either bring in your own food or use the caterer of your choice.
So if you find yourself needing to choose for your event, here are some options to consider:
restaurants that Are good for large groups
These Restaurants either take reservations and/or accomodate large carry-out orders
Brown County Inn - One of our favorite restaurants in town and one of my top recommendations for guests. They often have live music in the evenings and I especially like them for dining with kids because there’s a small mini-golf course and playground off the back patio that restaurant guests can use.
Brozinni Pizzeria - They can seat larger groups at the restaurant, or provide trays of all their normal menu favorites of pasta, salads, breadsticks, and more to go.
Johnny’s Grub to Go - A delicious mix of American diner meets Filipino street food. Definitely something different than you’ll find in most Brown County restaurants. There are some tables on-site, but this is mostly a carry-out or catering option.
Nashville House - Their standard restaurant menu is great, I believe they take reservations, and they also offer several options for a more traditional catered meal.
Season’s Lodge and Rafters Food & Spirits - We love the food and service at Rafters and definitely recommend them to our guests!
Subway - No need to explain this one, you probably already know what to expect from Subway.

Some venues, like the Brown County Barn Burner, also allow you to bring in your own food. This obviously takes more advance planning and clean-up on your part, but might be your best option depending on your group size, budget, and food preferences.
