Event Space
Our Event Space is perfect for small to medium-sized meetings, gatherings, and parties. It’s almost 1,000 square feet, with two unisex bathrooms, access to an attached ‘catering kitchen’ with an ice machine, and two overhead doors that can be opened to create an outdoor feel on warm days.
THE EVENT SPACE AT THE BROWN COUNTY BARN BURNER BRINGS TOGETHER SALVAGED AND HANDCRAFTED ELEMENTS TO CREATE A FEELING OF RUSTIC ELEGANCE, MAKING IT THE PERFECT BACKDROP FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT.
Your rental includes the use of our folding tables and chairs (six 8 ft rectangular tables, eight 6 ft rectangular tables, and 80 black folding chairs). There is also an attached ‘catering kitchen’ that currently has a three-bay sink, prep tables, and an ice machine.
When you rent our Event Space, you can either bring in your own food, or use the caterer of your choice. Unless otherwise arranged, you are responsible for your own set-up, tear down, and basic cleaning.
This flexible space could be the perfect spot for your next small to medium-sized meeting, gathering, or party - including rehearsal dinners, birthdays, baby showers, work retreats, or educational programs.
NOTE: Pricing starts at $350/day, plus tax, and varies based on your set-up needs, time of year, etc. We prioritize renting the Event Space to groups that are also booking the lodging at the Barn Burner and provide a pricing discount when you are booking both spaces together. PERFECT FOR SMALL TO MEDIUM-SIZED EVENTS AND GATHERINGS
Total occupancy for the space varies based on the type of event you’re planning, layout needs, etc. We’ve found the following occupancy ranges are comfortable in practice, but don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions about occupancy:
Group meetings or discussions – up to 30 people - All attendees at tables and facing one direction in the room, or sitting in a horseshoe or circle, facing one another/a presenter
Presentations, lectures, or movie screening – up to 60 people – All attendees in chairs that are set-up ‘theater style’
Seated meal – up to 50 people – Rehearsal dinner, birthday celebration, baby shower, etc
Wedding reception – up to 30 people – Includes tables for a seated meal, a ‘head table,’ and small dance floor area.
Again, these numbers are just guidelines and there are a lot of things to consider. We are always happy to provide feedback on whatever you’re planning and whether it would be a good fit for our space.

Our spaces were designed and built specifically for large groups and families and combining both the lodging units and the Event Space provides lots of options to maximize your time. Here are some of the groups we’ve hosted in the past:
Large Groups & Family Reunions – Combining the lodging and the Event Space is an easy way to access additional indoor space for group meals, or as an added insurance policy against the weather.
Small Business & Executive Leadership Teams – Combining the lodging of the Brown County Barn Burner with the on-site Event Space can be a great option for small to medium sized teams that are looking for time to connect with one another. The spaces work well together, regardless of whether you’ll be working on business objectives during your stay, or simply focused on building relationships and relaxing as a team.
Yoga, Wellness, Art, & Music Retreats – Our spaces offer almost endless possibilities to accommodate whatever type of retreat you’re planning. We’ve hosted yoga and meditation on the rooftop patio and in the Event Space, weeklong musician retreats with daily jam sessions in the Event Space, “Make It, Take It” style craft workshops, and much more. If you can dream it, we can help you figure out how to make it work at the Barn Burner.
Wedding Groups – In addition to the lodging, the on-site Event Space is a great option for your rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or a day-after-wedding brunch. We’ve also hosted small ceremonies and receptions on site.
Our Lodging
While the units at the Barn Burner can be rented individually, we believe that the spaces are best enjoyed with a larger group and by booking all four units at once.
We prioritize reservations for larger groups that are interested in booking the entire space.

Sink into relaxation in 1-North, as you’re surrounded by dark and cozy shades of blue. High ceilings, natural materials, and classic details ensure that this tone-on-tone space feels cozy and timeless.
Our one bedroom, one bath unit with a twin sleeper loveseat has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, private patio, is fully ADA-accessible, and can sleep up to 3 people.

Warm hues and cozy furnishings will surround you with an inviting glow in 2-South. High ceilings, natural materials, and classic details ensure this soothing space feels timeless, but with a modern twist.
This two-bedroom, one bath unit, with a double sleeper sofa, has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, access to the shared rooftop patio via an interior stairway, and can sleep up to 6 people.

Feel your spirits lift as you enter the light and airy second-floor unit that is 3-East. Vaulted ceilings, natural materials, and classic details ensure this bright space feels spacious yet is still cozy and welcoming.
This three bedroom, two bath unit, with a double sleeper sofa, has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, walk-out access to the shared rooftop patio, and can sleep up to 10 people.

Find yourself transported to simpler times and cozy surroundings in 3-West, our moody and colorful second-floor unit. Vaulted ceilings, natural materials, and classic details help showcase the colors, textures, and experiences of nature in Brown County.
This three bedroom, two bath unit, with a queen sleeper sofa, has a full kitchen, washer and dryer, walk-out access to the shared rooftop patio, and can sleep up to 10 people.

The Brown County Barn Burner is located near the corner of Jefferson and Washington Streets. It’s a quiet corner of town, but still just a few easy walkable blocks from the heart of Nashville, Indiana and all it has to offer – including shopping, restaurants, art galleries and studios, coffee shops, and much more.
